Hi
I have finally booked my first trip abroad since becoming disabled, I am going with my Mum and daughter. Obviously I will have to have a policy with pre existing conditions - but what do I do about my Mum and daughter?
Mum is over 65 and daughter is 9 - would a family insurance cover both of them, or would they not be considered as family, and I'll have to do individual ones for each one?
Going away never used to be this traumatic!
Thanks

I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
Is it wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care

Family insurance wouldn't usually cover a Grandparent so you'd probably need a separate policy for your Mum. For disabilities insurers vary massively, the best bet is look for info on a charity/support group for your particular disability and see if they have recommendations for good insurers.0

For single trip cover its normally Group cover even if its called family with no requirement for relationships between travellers.
For Annual cover then there often is a definition of "family" because it covers each covered person when travelling together or separately and so its important for the insurer to be clearer over who's covered0
