Does Amazon Prime Instant video work on android tablet

I just got a letter from Amazon with a membership card for Amazo Prime Instant Video 30 day trial.. No idea why they needed to generate a credit card type card but still. My question is that I have an android tablet (Kitkat 4.4.2) and as far as I know it doesn't work on that in the UK
Does it?

Yes, it should work fine although you need to go through the Amazon app store rather than the Google play store. It was originally limited to Kindle and ios devices but they opened it up recently, it works on my kit kat android phones although not tested it on a tablet.

Not too sure what you mean by that, but you do understand that at the end of your free trial your subscription will be automatically renewed and your card will be charged £79.00, don't you?
i think he means the free trail code comes on a plastic card, like a credit card.
i get sent them all the time from amazon0 -
The trick is to cancel the trial before the end, if you don't want to get £79 taken off your credit card. The trial still runs to the end of its 30 day period even if cancelled.

Correct. Same principle applies for the Now TV trial that came with Chromecast ... I've cancelled the subscription but still get the remainder of the trial until 28/3.0

There are lists of android phones on which it works but not tablets. I wondered if it was even worth trying if it was not going to work and/or the titles which are available are no good. I doubt I would take out a regular sub as it seems not all their titles are included in the sub, some cost extra. There is not much worth reading on Amazons Kindle Unlimited sub where nearly all the decent books are excluded. On Netflix, which does work on an android kitkat tablet, all the titles are included in the sub.0

If you're already in the free trial and have a tablet the obvious thing is to install the app and see if it works.
Well seemed obvious to me at least
