Battery charger - Advice please

Looks suspiciously like (i.e. identical with) my La Crosse charger bought some years ago.

The clones are all around £30 on Amazon so 7dayshop is a good option at £20.
My how prices have fallen. An excellent charger. But if it thinks your battery is duff it will say "Null" and refuse to charge it. While some cheaper chargers will. Maybe the battery is on the way out at that point. All in all a worthwhile investment.
I have read that if the 7dayshop digital battery charger says NULL for any battery inserted its because the battery has completely discharged and if said battery is put into a normal charger for an hour it will bring the battery back to life so that the 7dayshop charger will 'See' it and charge accordingly."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -

Mine's successfully charged AAA, AA, C, D & 9V.
I like the fact it tests the batteries & warns you which are duds - I had six Cs & Ds for a couple of radios & was able to identify the individual batteries failing to charge (they were fairly old by then).

Was the one I bought with Maplin, since 99% of my rechargeables are used in remote controls they are charged twice a year if that. That means I leave them overnight for minimum 8 hours and don't have to worry about an auto-cutoff. It depends on the OP's definition of a reasonable price, the chargers start from £2.99, my choice is £8, yours is £27 but depends if any batteries are included as a set for the higher price.0 -

That is all correct. It happened to me yesterday when I came to charge a couple of AA's that had run completely flat. 15 minutes in an old Ross basic charger and then they started charging fine in the 7DayShop unit.0
