  • Bit naughty and went to boots yesterday and got a Lorel hair mask, although my hair could really do with a good conditioning treatment, plus I had enough points on my card to buy it so that was a bonus! :D

  • An update from me below.

    Toiletries OUTs:

    66) Sensodyne toothpaste. WBA. Replaced with one from stash.
    67) Small Black Phoenix Trading Post atmosphere spray. WNBA. Replaced with one from stash.
    68) 30ml Molton Brown Ylang Ylang body wash. Loved this, WBA if I'm ever rich enough ;)
    69) Gilchrist & Soames body lotion 120ml.Second and last bottle, so glad it's finished!
    70) Boots dandruff shampoo. Replaced with one from stash.
    71) Sanctuary Calming bath foam. WMBA.
    72) Black Phoenix Trading Post hair gloss - sold.
    73) 30ml Molton Brown Suma Ginseng body wash. Don't like so my husband used it up.
    74) FCUK hand wash. Was a present and I didn't like it, glad to use it up.

    Toiletries INs:

    10) Tresemme clarifying shampoo.

I bought this to try to avoid cutting the nasty ends off my hair (I'm growing it). Unfortunately it didn't make much difference so I'm off to declutter an inch off my hair in a bit AND I now have yet another shampoo to use up. Oh well, it was worth a try.

11-12) Black Phoenix Trading Post Bourbon Vanilla bath oil.
    13) Black Phoenix Trading Post Chestnut & Fig atmosphere spray.

    Make-up OUTs;

    30) Mini Clinique super balm. Lost through a hole in my coat pocket(!). Fortunately was almost empty anyway. WBA if I ever have the cash to splash ;)
    31-33) Eyeshadow samples.

My aim for March is to get to balances of -65 and -35. I'm currently at -61 and -33 but I do have a few things on their way out so hopefully I will make it.

I still seem to have so much stashed away but our bathroom is looking a bit tidier so I think it's finally starting to make a noticeable difference :)

1 bottle of Lord of misrule perfume which I paid well over the odds for and even though I have 2 other bottles I really felt I needed/ wanted another.

I had to look this up but oh my, it sounds incredible! I have a huge weakness for niche fragrances (adore BPAL) and this is just my sort of thing. I didn't even know that Lush sold such amazing sounding perfumes. I must take a trip to my local store to sniff a few.

I made it home without a mis-step. I did venture into Sephora but left without anything. I wanted to replace one of those fold-up brush/mirror things for my handbag. I got them as gwp items or they were relatively cheap in Sephora (think under $3).

They wanted $9 for a new one!

    Not happening.

Handbag in with the Coach repair service. No charge for it so even better.

I have a couple of use ups and will get to them later.

The only money spent at the Mall was on a cake for my son's 21st birthday today.

    He's getting old.

Momobingu, you are doing very well in your use it up challenge, LOM is beautiful.

I have heard very good things about BPAL but I am not allowed to discover another company as I then have a need to sample the whole range.
Lush do quite a range of perfumes and have just released several more, Lord of Misrule was a limited release in December from the lush kitchen and was very popular and bottles are selling for over double the original price. I am not trying to tempt you but they do have a good range of more niche perfumes in store.:)

    UU's
22 comforter bubble bar WBA nice enough, still have another in stash ( surprisingly I seem to have quite a few back ups of lots of things in my stash)

23 monkey farts bubble bar from moosterbubble WBA probably not in the same fragrance but they worked very well.

24 Snowcake soap WBA HG soap love the scent, my mom seems to be following in the same path, She had about 800g off me at Christmas and yesterday told me she will run out it is by the sink in the downstairs toilet and in by the sink and in the shower upstairs and it seems to be the only soap she is using. I have a block bought for my sister but since she had extended her travels and won't be back till late August she can have that.

    25. H2O face moisturiser WNBA nice enough, this came from M&S in a free beauty box when you spent so much on nightwear, used as a day moisturiser as I prefer lighter ones under my make up.

    26. Murad vit C serum WNBA worked well enough but have so many more to get through before I will purchase again. It also left my skin quite sticky which did not like.

27 AHC miracle cream WBA a really greasy cream full of oils, too heavy for my skin so I have used it as a oil cleanser, really impressed as it even removed waterproof mascara.

28 acai berry face wash WNBA synthic fragrance but worked well enough.

    TA
29, Moroccan argan oil, gave my hair a funny coating and seemed to dry it out. Could not get on with it and after 1/4 of the bottle have given up.

Now for the naughty step bit. I may have gone shopping today and it would have been rude not to have popped into Lush, especially since I have not seen the Easter release.

    INS
2, Daddy-O shampoo 500g, I am really struggling with greasy scalp and think I have been using the same ginger shampoo for too long so bought this as I used to love it ( don't love the price)
3, Curly Wurly shampoo 220g again for a bit of a mix up another I used to frequently buy and like and hopefully a bit more moisturising than others I have used. Just need to be careful when combing my hair after due to the coconut bits in it.
4, R&B 100g because I wanted it and it has got to be better than the Moroccan argon oil full of silicones that I have been using.
5 & 6 golden eggs, they did not have any fluffy eggs so will go back and pick up one when I see them ( yes I know I don't need them but I like them)
7&8 mango bath melt, I don't think I have bought any for a couple of years and I wanted them.

I will now not pass the kitchen ( no chocolate allowed on the naughty step) , or the pantry( again no alcohol either) and sit there till I remember I am supposed to be using things up.:D

Nothing got thrown away but I kept a Nina Ricci shower gel of Emma's out and told her I would help to UU as the tube is now squishy. Went into the bathroom the next morning without my glasses on and mistakenly applied it as a body lotion rather than shower gel. Not even when I noted the lotion had a gel like texture did I realise nor even when it started to soap up on my skin. It was only whilst sitting in work during the day that I noticed my skin feeling stickier and stickier that I thought I'd better chuck the product out. It was only when I got home and looked at the tube with my glasses on that I noticed it was shower gel!! Altogether now "Should have gone to .........."

    This made me LOL:rotfl:
Thanks for making me chuckle VALM

    INS
Balance me face mask - mag freebie, more of an exfoliator than a mask so i'm going to try it in the shower whilst conditioning/shaving/shower gelling

Liz Earle cleanse & polish - I bought this as I know a few of you guys on here love it so thought i'd give it a go.
I've been using coconut oil to cleanse for a few weeks but in the last fortnight haven't been getting on so well with it. Had a bit of a breakout on my chin and felt like my skin wasn't clean enough using this method. I've used the C&P this evening and my skin feels really fresh and clean so hoping for good things!
Eve Lom cleanser sample & muslin cloth - my friend sent me this to try so i'll give this a go tomorrow i think. Plus the cloth will come in handy for my C&P!

    UU:
Decleor body scrub WNBA - this was the strangest product. It was like a jelly consistency with an odd woody smell. The scrubbiness was good but other than that I wasn't keen at all.

    That's all folks.
    Enjoy your weekend :D

I had my hair cut yesterday, is that an IN? I don't consider it one as I really needed a trim and some layers put back in my hair. That did make me feel good and I opted for the academy level which made the haircut £24 versus £48+ (even up to £80 for a senior stylist), so at least I was trying to be savvy.

I did buy some Dior products, but they are presents so I'm not counting that as an IN really.

    UU's:
    Lush Ultrabland - wba

The best part of shopping your stash so to speak and using up your stash is rediscovering good items. I have to admit that I am loving the Josie Maran nail wipes. 1 wipe does all 10 nails and it doesn't stink like other nail polish removers and leaves them moisturised. I am so in love with these!

Really enjoying everyon's UU's and even your IN's too, haha.
