Animal Friends Pet Insurance Warning

Hi people, just a quick warning if you want to use Animal Friends insurance. They offer a £20 Amazon.co.uk Gift Certificate if you Refer A Friend. A friend of mine and I have referred friends about a year ago and no voucher anywhere. They deny that you have clicked on the refer a friend link and you have no proof (Unless you do a print screen) which I didn't do. Hope this helps.

For a Refer a Friend type promotion you need to treat it in the same way as a Cashback from the likes of Quidco or TopCashBack in terms of your friend ensuring they've cleared their cookies etc, that they click the link in the email and dont go directly to the site or via a comparison engine like confused.com etc.

If all the same precautions arent taken then the site may not track its from that referral rather than from confused.com or such that they've approached and so another referrer or no one gets the funds rather than you.
