International removals from overseas to London

Anyone got experience of moving from overseas to UK, London in particular. Does the removal firm arrange for suspension of parking bays while they deliver to your new address in the UK?

It would generally be up to you to make appropriate arrangements for parking for the removal company vehicles, you'll mostly find this in their terms and conditions.
I moved to the UK from the Netherlands a few years ago, but I did it all myself. I put my stuff in storage in NL and over the course of a year or so, brought it over myself bit by bit by car/rented van as this worked out cheaper than getting a company involved and I was still travelling to NL on occasion to tie up loose ends anyway.
Don't use one of the big storage companies though, they overcharge, I stored my stuff with a small local removal company in NL that charged me around a third of what the big boys wanted.0
