She has and they've dealt with me all along on this. Its just every new person who deals with does not bother to check the account first.

They actually phoned her and said we understand you were concerned you owed money. Just to let you know its all ok so I'll close down this reference.

AAaaaaaarrggghhh! The guy did not even read the complaint, got an old person on the phone who had no idea what he was on about and thought, easy peasy feed them some rubbish job done.

Call them again, and get your MIL to request her phone number is removed from the account, or if you have POA/LOA then you could do this yourself.

That way their only contact is directly through yourself. Also, get them to re-open the complaint, stating that a full resolution was not achieved to your/her satisfaction.
