can i amend my policy with new car when there is still claim processing

had accident other party was at fault, in meanwhile got new car as other car was written off, can I change my insurance to the new car or will it interfere with existing claim ?

Yes (assuming your new car is acceptable to your current insurer - if not you will have to take out a new policy elsewhere)
