Closing accounts

Ok so I know this will sound like a very silly question but I opened a bank account due to it offering 3% interest but I don't now need it as i am trying to cut the amount of accounts I have. I ended up opening too many accounts and making things too complicated for myself. Presume the bank will be ok with me closing the account and it does not affect my credit rating?

It's OK, but you can possibly make money by switching it instead of closing.0

There are no direct debits etc so its not worth switching.
My credit rating is 825 and I am hoping it will go up a little once the report shows me as debt free and it will be more than 6 months since opening any accounts. Is 825 ok? I think I used to be around 900 so trying to get it back there!0 -
DDs are easy to create if needed.
And stop paying too much attention to the meaningless figure that the CRA shows you, hopefully for free.0 -
I have paid for one month as I have used up the free trial but I will cancel before they take another payment0
