Fees refund

Hi,

I had to refund someone as an item got damaged in the post. I issued the full refund via paypal and got their portion of the fees back.

Will I automatically get my FVF back from Ebay ?

There was no case opened it was all done in messages

Thx

I doubt it if you just refunded them.

I'm in the same position and need to claim from the delivery company. I was told yesterday by ebay to refund my buyer via paypal. Then to ring ebay to enable them to refund me my ebay fees.

Sadly postage was twice that of the item's value as it went to Australia. I won't be refunded the fees on postage

If the buyer had opened a case, I would have automatically been refunded ebay fees. Was advised not to go down that route to avoid a defect on my account

OP, you need to cancel the transaction via your eBay selling page.

    Select the 'buyer's request' option.

Just phoned ebay, got my final fees and postage costs refunded. Typical ebay, one rep states something different to another!
