Can I be charged for incoming calls?

I'm receiving automated calls on an hourly basis, asking me to confirm if I'm [someone else's name] in order to confirm a hospital appointment that I haven't got. It sounds dodgy but as it is automated the only thing I can do is press 1 to confirm or 2 to say I'm not that person.
Obviously, I want an end to these dratted annoying calls but is there any risk that if I press a button that I could be unwittingly accepting premium rate charges?

The NHS use a system to ask you confirm appointments, you cannot be charged if you press buttons in response to voice prompts on an incoming call0

If pressing 2 doesn't stop them press 1.over 73 but not over the hill.0

Try some other numbers, like 9 or 0 or hash.
If you are lucky, the system will transfer you to an operator.
If they call you again, asking for the correct telephone number, please report it here: I like a good laugh.0
