switching bank? Will change of address in last month stop me?

Hi everyone,

I am looking to switch accounts to halifax. I moved house last month (16012015). I am a little concerned I will fail the credit check due to only living at my current address for a month... I have updated the electoral register and all my bills and banks. I don't want it to effect my credit rating if I am rejected... Do you think this will be an issue?

Thanks

A rejection won't be recorded. Only a credit search will. Not a big deal.

Changing the address always affects your credit score, but nobody can tell you how big the effect is.

If your history is perfect and all changes you made have been reported to the CRAs and to the electoral roll, I wouldn't expect serious problems.
