Camera woes - repair or new?

My Nikon Coolpix S 3500 seems to have a cracked lens (knocked when out walking). It cost around £100 and the model has now been superceded anyway so would you agree it is not worth repairing? In any case I used to have a Fujifim FinePix and I found the software more intuitive and easier to use.
Any recommendations up to £150 - ish? Main interest is landscapes (and the dog
). And has anyone had any success with a used/reconditioned camera off Amazon or from a retailer?

Can't help with camera model suggestions, sorry.
BUT - I have used the Fuji refurbished camera site before and found both the products AND service to be excellent.

Camera prices in general are much-reduced lately due to the popularity of cameras on mobile phones - meaning you get (relatively) more for your money. :j0 -
Have you tried ebay? A new s3500 is around £50 and a used one around £20. Cameras are extremely cheap second hand and are often sold due to lack of use for the reasons given above, rather than because they are broken.0

I'm a hobbyist photographer and can vouch for Fuji reconditioned cameras.
I've also had success on ebay so go for what floats your boat.
If I must chose....Fuji.0 -
The sony Compacts from the HX V range are from another stratosphere at present, you can shoot at ISO that even most digital SLR can not handle and have good pictures.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

I'm in love with Sony cameras. I've an A6000 currently. You could have a look at this one. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-NEX5KB-Compact-System-Camera/dp/B003OUX6TA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425181200&sr=8-1&keywords=nex+50

You can get a brand new Coolpix S9600 from John Lewis for £109.99. Which magazine rates it as a best buy and I am very pleased with mine.0
