I am a grandmother and even tho my grandchildren live with their mum, my husband and I are taking them away for a weekend surprise. Is there any discount or concessions we can get. They love haven as they love the entertainment. They are both in wheelchairs and love watching this. I feel robbed when they are quoting nearly £400 for Fri-Mon when all we want is Fri-Sun (due to their needs). Pleae can I have some advise.
Thanks:sad:

Given the statement that "they love haven" one would assume they have been before and this being the case surely whoever booked it previously would know if there are any concessions.
You aren't being "robbed" as its your choice to go to havens if you dont like it then dont go.
It would probably be best to email havens with your enquiry for a definitive answerLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Haven + school holidays = expensive0

Some holiday charities offer discounted accommodation to families where a member has a disability. Its worth enquiring about those. Some of these are on sites such as Haven, its worth checking around to see whats available.0

Not necessarily - especially if you go somewhere that has different weeks off. We've had some cracking deals at Easter going down south as our Easter holidays are often a week earlier or later than in the south.PeacefulWaters wrote: »Haven + school holidays = expensive

what adaptations do you need ? do they need hoists , wide doors , showers , adapted toilets . some places may say they are wheelchair friendly but you cannot get into a tight bathroom . how old are the kids // good luck with your search . I remember the joseph rowntree foundation used to help with accessible properties both financially and locations . where are you located too OP:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

I don't think any of the haven/butlins type holidays do 2 night breaks, so it's not really being robbed to take up the breaks they do offer and leave early 1 night early.
Do you have specific dates and areas in mind? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
