I know this has been done before but I cant immediately find it and thought someone could save me some time.
Just the question of whether DD's need to be from different organisations SPECIFICALLY for the San 123 account.
Is anybody just using two different Tesco savings DD's and getting the benefits?

Not sure, best bet is to call and ask.
I was told on opening mine last month that you only need them to be active, i.e. they don't have to be paid every month, you could have annual DD's and the benefit would be paid.
I set up 2, one to Tesco and one for Council tax, but as it was the middle of the month I only had one paid out for the monthly cycle but still got the benefits.
Don't forget the monthly cycle is the anniversary of acc opening not calendar month.

Nothing in the current 123 T&Cs that asks for two different organisations.0

We do on OH's sole account0 -
thanks both
i'm familiar with the monthly anniversary - i have two 123's myself with loads of DDs - this is for OH who only has Tesco.
Anybody actually doing two Tesco with San 123?
EDIT: Thnks always! we were typing at the same time........0 -
Two Tesco direct debits will suffice for the 123 account. However, I qualify that by saying that it might be prudent to have two Tesco savings accounts, ie the Internet Saver Account and the Instant Access Savings Account and pull £1 a month to each from your 123 account.nearlyretired2004 wrote: »thanks both

opened it before they changed the Ts and Cs to limit you ...... same was as I have 3 Halifax (as has OH and adult son) , and cant remember how many TSB without looking.....
Think some of the really fast movers openend up to seven Halifax reward before they reduced the limit to three, then one and one joint.....0 -

Yes I have 3 Rewards, looking for somewhere to put £20000 plus at end of April when a bond matures.

The Halifax Reward account was limited to 3 at launch...otherwise I'd have bagged more!nearlyretired2004 wrote:
