greenhouse glass replacement

Options
After the storms in December I lost most of the glass in my greenhouse. I am thinking of replacing glass with 4mm twinwall polycarbonate sheets. I was wondering if anyone has used this material. If so could you tell me if it was a success, how rigid the sheets are and the strength of them?

thanks

I have used it on my greenhouse roof it has been in place for two winters now without any problems, the sheeting is very flexible and so is quite difficult to fit to roof sections, I used normal glass clips externally and ran a bead of silicon sealant around the internal areas where it touched the frame, this sealant came away from the sheeting after time so I had to peel it off and apply another bead after last winters very windy weather, this year it doesn't look like it needs doing again. Obviously it isn't as robust as glass would be especially if you chose to use toughened glass but I got mine from a supplier who was very reasonably priced I see he now does a 10 pack for £37,50 plus delivery.
