Garden Tap leaking, how to stop it?

My life would be so much easier if the pipes were empty until you wanted water.0

If you don't want to use the tap you could take the plastic nozzle off the tap, remove the washer and put a 1p piece in it before replacing the washer and refixing to the tap. Not too expensive, should cost about 1p
.
OK I did what you said and put a 1p inside the plastic nozzle (The Yellow bit on the picture) and it fitted perfectly! put it back on but it was still dripping, seems it was now dripping from a metal part above the plastic nozzle somehow. Wish there was just a switch or a dial I could just turn to turn off that annoying outside garden tap which I have spent so long trying to stop dripping. I don't even need it or want it.0 -
When I turn the waterstop off under the sink, it turns off some of the taps in the house but not all of them. Is it possible that the waterstop under the sink only turns off some of the taps and there is another waterstop somewhere else, ie the street that turns off the rest of the water in the house?
Does anyone know how I access the WaterStop in the street? Do I need a Stop Key and if so which type ie Cruch Type, Box type?
If I turn off the waterstop in the street will it also turn off my neighbours?
I was looking at these but dont know which one to get?

When I turned off the water stop under the sink, the outside tap stopped leaking but when I took off the top of the outside tap to change the washer water began to come out of the party of the tap I had just taken off and the water was really coming out fast, why is that
Thanks in advance.0
