Do all digital photo frames need pics resizing?

Hi

I want to buy (or rather my sister wants for her birthday:rolleyes:) a digital photo frame that takes XD cards. I found one on ebuyer but after reading the reviews I see that you need to resize the pics before you can display them properly on the screen.

Please can someone tell me if that is the case with all digital photo frames or is it just that particular make and model?

If there are other makes/models that don't require resizing the pics before displaying them does anyone have a good one (that takes XD cards) that they can recommend - budget up to £100.
