Limits on how many current accounts with each bank.

Might be useful to have a list of how many current account accounts each bank permits?

I'll start with TSB - (and please feel free to correct me on this....)

TSB - 2 x single accounts plus 1 a joint account

    Lloyds - at least 7
    Halifax - at least 5
Yorkshire Bank - at least 11
    Nationwide - at least 4
    BoS - at least 7
    RBS - at least 4

And your TSB sole number is wrong...both officially and unofficially. ;)

EDIT: The above are all sole accounts.

This information could be wrong before the thread disappears from the front page as banks keep changing their policies. The ones that I recall changed (reduced max no of accounts) over the last year are Nationwide, Santander and TSB

The table at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-loophole shows the number currently permitted (i.e. for new account openings) for each of the 3%+ current accounts, it states 'updated February 2015' but of course isn't guaranteed to be kept up to date on an ongoing basis....

I think you need to clarify which TSB accounts you are talking about - I have two classic plus accounts,

    also

    - one classic
    - one classic with vantage
