To multi-quote click the icon to the right of the quote icon for every post you wish to quote and then click on post reply.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

The bubble next to the 'Quote' bubble is a multi quote. Used for quoting more than one poster usually.
If you want to quote sections then you can copy and paste the bit you want. Then highlight it and click on the icon that looks like a voice bubble above the box you are typing in 'Wraptags around selected text'
