Can anyone advise?
Initially my light went in the bathroom. So I changed the bulb and he presto it worked.
Then I went to switch the light on this morning, there was no light.
I have checked the fuse box and nothing has tripped either.
Any ideas will be appreciated!!!!!!

Has the bulb blown again ? Check the condition of the holder. If there's any rust or gunk in there, or if the bulb is not a snug fit in the holder, this can cause arcing which will quickly blow a bulb.
If the bulb hasn't blown, and the fuse hasn't tripped, then check the wiring to the light - it's possible that a wire has come adrift, it's easy enough to check. I hope it goes without saying, but switch off the power at the fusebox BEFORE you start doing anything like this

thanks for info, no the bulb hasn't blown! Could it be the wiring in the switch plate that is loose and do you think this will be more around where the bulb is inserted where the problem is?0

I'd check the wiring in both the switch and the light fitting. Gut instinct is that it's more likely to be in the fitting itself, but check both. It's only a five minute job to have a quick look-see and check that all the wires are screwed in to the terminals securely.0
