    57 is spring chicken still! But yeah - I don't think I can see myself living in London in my 60's either.
    ... especially having to change tube line at some stations :D up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs, down the stairs keep going for 4 miles keep going down!

    I moved out almost 10 years ago to Surrey, but I still have investment property there, I do work part time in London, but I don't have to travel in during the rush hour(s), so commuting isn't that bad. I used to live in Battersea, and Clapham Junction is a nightmare at peak times.

    It is a nightmare around there - every time I go there I don't like it at all. So many people you can barely walk!

    Then maybe (based on your age) you were one of the lucky once who bought property in those areas and saw the price quadruple and more over 10 / 15 years! When I see those stats in Zoopla I get a chill down my spine!
