Ebay Delivery Estimates

Just wondered if anyone else is finding that Ebay estimates have gone a bit haywire? Had endless complaints this week with Ebay telling people that second class items will take three weeks and Royal Mail Airmail two months.

Not sure if this is connected but invoices and sold items are not showing what postage service has been selected.

    I suspects hey are tinkering again, the systems are all a bit 'off'.

    I've still heard nothing about being on the European sales booster, yet today I had a personalised email telling me that as I have such strong sales and so much stock I would be better off with a shop- and they would like me to trial one free for 2 months.......I have had a shop now for over 2 years :(

    I got that invitation too for a basic shop, which I already have...

    Yes gave been having problems. And just got a request open the buyer has not received their item with this message
    hi are these on the way? was suppose to be hear yesterday, but just want to know if on the way.
    Does this mean a defect?!

    Yes it does mean a defect even if you send another item or the original turns up.

    Thought so. Ridiculous!
    Have just managed to get back down to 0.61% defects after a slightly shaky December!
  • An item of mine got mis delivered last week, the buyer received the original (forwarded on after mis delivery) and a replacement on the same day but as I had not got the item to the buyer by the original date estimate the defect stays. Stupid system.

    I would change my dispatch time to 2 working days but I don't want to lose my Premium Service Badge!

    Same here, I'm hanging on to 1 day dispatch as that 15% comes in quite handy.

    TRS and 1 day dispatch should trump someone with a slower dispatch time...but this is of course ebay...
