Independent Reviews of Estate Agents

Is there a website that carries independent reviews of estate agents? All I can find are the testimonials on the agents' own websites (not very useful!), and Yell.com, but there are hardly any reviews on there.
I am particularly interested in estate agents who sell properties, rather than letting agents.
Thanks in advance for any information on this subject.

There are Google reviews for some agents. There's also a site called allagents.co.uk - although I don't know how anything about them, e.g. impartial they are.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

Far better that you review them yourself. Even if there is a review site, and I don't know one, personal research is better.
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see which agents do a good job with their ads on the property portals. Those with dull, uninspiring photos, disorganised writing and no room plans can be discounted straight away.
Then get a few of them round to value. You may eliminate some like that too; I certainly did.
Finally, try ringing them about similar properties to yours. See how long the phone takes to be answered, and how. I switched agents before signing a contract, simply because getting through was a nightmare on the 3 occasions I tried to make contact. Might have been A-typical, but I couldn't risk buyers getting similar treatment.
Local friends and neighbours will also have opinions on this, but bear in mind their experience may not be better than yours, or recent.
PS. I've just twigged, aren't a fairly regular poster, who will surely know all this?0 -

The aspect that is difficult to evaluate in the way you describe is their progression team, and how they work. They are important in keeping the chain together. Hence I wondered if there are independent review sites anywhere that I read such information.0 -
the best review site for my area is Allagents it covers sales, lettings, tenants and buyers0

Thanks, I've just had a look and there are hardly any reviews posted there for my area! Many EAs have no reviews at all, and some have 1 or 2. A few are in double digits.
Perhaps this information just does not exist.0
