Lloyds Avios credit card question

I've had this card for years so can't remember but I thought they said I had to have a Lloyds current account to have it and so one got opened and I've kept £1 in it, as my main current account is elsewhere.

So do I need to keep this current account to keep the Avios credit card? Do you have an Avios credit card and not the current account?

I'm tempted by the Clydsdale free £150 so it would be ideal to switch this account! ;-)

Ideally I want to rush over to Clydsdale in Piccadilly after work tomorrow... well today actually... best get to bed now!

Having a quick look at the Lloyds Bank website I can't see anything anywhere to suggest that you'd need a Lloyds account to continue on using the card.

There's also nothing mentioned on the relevant section of the MSE site about Airline Rewards.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

    Hi phil7445,

You don't need to hold a current account with us to have (or keep) the credit card account.

    Thanks,

This card now offers promotional money transfers to your bank account but reading the conditions you have to jump through hoops to get it.
