    Cancel and refund.

Don't just cancel you need to do a Mutual cancel

goto http://ocsnext.ebay.co.uk/ocs/sr and in the search box search Cancel an order and then choose which 1 you want. if the buyer agrees you will get your FVF back

What would you like to do?

I'm a buyer and I want to cancel a purchase.
I'm a seller and I want to cancel a sale.

    Time warp. Welcome to 2015.

There is a new cancellation flow, well, it's been in since last year :p

On eBay.co.uk a seller opens a 'buyer wants to cancel or there's a problem with their address' option. No defect, immediate refund, all done and dusted, even the FVF.

I assume the OP means the BUYER bought in error, not SELLER.
  • Apologies, I did mean buyer.

    You have two cancelation options.

On eBay UK you can do as I said above. As long as the buyer has sent an eBay message asking for a cancellation and you select as I said above you won't get a defect. Your fees will be refunded and your refund will be a one click affair, no need to worry about Paypal, that refund and fees will be taken care of, bar the 20p transaction fee.

Alternatively log onto eBay ie and do it the old way. A mutual cancellation, the risk of a refusal/decline and 8 day wait.

Or take the advise of the other poster who clearly has no idea of current procedures. :D

Apologies for any typos - on an ipad.
