Hi guys, not my day today.
Just half way through free book from Amazon, then, Error! Download fault!
Please delete, then download from cloud.?
Deleted book, tried cloud, never used it before, nothing ? Don,t know how to download from cloud, so just tried to read another on device, no joy?
Now cannot get any of my books on device to read, even though it says they are there.just downloaded another, Amazon e,mailed, ok, but, not on device ? Seems I cannot get anything on it.
It says make sure registered and wifi enabled, which it is, downloaded thousands to it.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

If you login to your Amazon account (Manage Your Content and Devices) all your books should be there - and available to resend to your Kindle - if you buy a new Kindle you can resend all your books to that as well.

Hi Tiexen, thanks for reply. I,m confused. I have 88 books on my kindle that I,ve never read,two years old, when I first had kindle,they show as on device,but, when I try to touch and bring it up to read ,nothing comes up, but,I can delete them?
Amazon sent one, just one, and received e mail confirming sent,but, not come up on kindle.although the page showed signs of moving?
this has just happened since that one book, I was half way through, said error!?
Logged in, and requested to resend.
Kindle screen flickered, book title appeared split second, then gone, not on device?

I cannot get menu , etc on screen either.could it be corrupted or frozen by error of last book ? Can I reset kindle back to factory settings?.

Rather than reset to factory settings, try a simple reboot by holding down the power switch for about 20 seconds.

Oblivion, you are one great genius. Ihad tried that, BUT, not long enough.just till it blinked.
However, it's done the job now.:j
