Hi guys
I've been looking to purchase a BBQ over the last few weeks and finally found a suitable product from B&Q. The Bondi GS56201. This was priced at £150 last week.

I went to their site to purchase it and it has been replaced with the G450 BBQ priced at £250:

Looking at the pictures / description, these are the exact same product. Are they allowed to do this? I really don't want to pay £250 for a £150 BBQ.
They also sold the G450 BBQ throughout last summer. Can they keep changing the name / pricing every year?
I understand there is a greater demand for BBQs this time of year. I just feel slightly ripped off at the moment that I missed out on the cheaper product by a few days.

Even if both items had the same model number, the seller can change the price as he sees fit.
Look on Amazon. You will see their prices going up and down more often than... what's the phrase?0 -
Legally yes, they can do that. Retailers are allowed to set their own prices, name their own products and change their prices as much as they like before you order. It might be worthwhile asking them if they have any of the old model in stock though, you might get lucky!:coffee:Coffee +3 Dexterity +3 Willpower -1 Ability to Sleep

It seems the GS56201 was an error on B&Q part....that number correlates to a lawn mower part....The G450 seems to be the only Bondi bbq manufactured.0

Apologies, the GS model was a type. It was called the G56201.
I'll contact them and see if I am able to purchase the £150 one. I won't hold my breath though.0 -

The first link the OP showed us was for a G56201 - without an 'S'.
That looks like a typo by someone.
They do offer a G56203, but that's a different brand.
B&Q's website has never been very good.0
