If I could afford to save it I wouldn't need it.

DD will benefit from it in the future.

We no longer qualify for it, but when we did, it went into the children's saving accounts.

It went into a seperate account which was then used any time extra 'big spends' was needed, eg school uniform, trips etc.

It gets used for what it's meant to be for, household expenses, groceries, nappies, kids clothes. If I could afford to save it I wouldn't need it.

I used to save it, then use it to pay any big bills.

Saving the CB does not necessarily mean do spending it on anything frivolous .

When my two were small, energy bills were paid quarterly and it was pretty hard to meet the March bill.

Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)
  • I put ours into a seperate account and it's used for daytrips out, treats for the children, clothing/uniform, school trips etc.

Since we changed bank accounts about 2 years ago, it's the only thing that gets paid into our old account which has made it easier to keep it for the kids. August time it's used for uniform, December time Christmas and DS's birthday, April DD's birthday and then it's also used for school trips etc through the year... None of it goes on me or DH.

    Jx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

Fags and Booze...if I smoked and drank alcohol! :D It goes into the pot and goes towards life's little necessities. I would save it but can't currently afford to.
