But what if I don't want to buy the book?0 -
Don't worry about buying the book. You can redeem it against your normal shopping in Tesco as a rule. Just depends on the SA. I usually don't have a problem using them, even if they don't scan. They just key the number in. Not all the SA's will take them.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I tried using an original one tonight at Asda using their self scanner and it just would not scan. The manager got involved and told me that I should not be using them. I will try using it again on another self scanner tomorrow or try it with a SA in Tesco or Asda. Apart from one last week, I don't seem to be able to use mine anywhere. Knowing my luck, I'll probably end up buying the book.:o0

I used one in my Tesco today - it wouldn't scan, but the SA happily keyed the code once she had checked the expiry date. Result - two packets of one-third off nappies for granddaughter

technically yes,
there millions of posts on store policy at taking internet/printed coupons when you don't buy the product, have a search around the boards.

Well raggy after reading your success last time, it might be your clothes I'm refering too !!!! :rotfl:
I printed mine at 70% of normal size. It scanned ok but the SA wasnt sure is she was allowed to accept it when she took it. She called CS who said no and it was taken off again! Some days Ive got it and other days no. Maybe more luck with the printd one from the newspaper as the internet ones are always treated with suspicion. I never buy more than a couple of papers at a time now though and if they work I buy a few more. Self print ones are worth carrying with you-little cost after all but you may not get t hem accepted.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
These internet one wont scan, I have converted it to a pdf file, and even that one wont scan using the hand scanner (ususally better) or the normal scanner. The SA has to key the number in, and most wont. They are good to carry with you in case you find a 'good' SA.Amazon Sellers Club Member Number 52

SA took mine yesterday, but had to put the number in manually. Went for the young male assistant, and he did it no problem along with £10 worth of beauty vouchers0
