Judi, do you feel you could ask for a meeting with the care home manager, just you and her to find out what has happened? You sound as though you have had a good rapport with the staff up to now it would be a shame to lose that.

BB we bought a German kitchen from a place in Cheshunt - it was very reasonable for the quality - it's 7 years old now but is still like new. The place is still going so if you are interested google kdcuk.0

OH has arthritis in his hips, he has exercises to do and also has to take paracetamol. He has been referred back to the cardiologist re his palpitations. He had an ECG whilst at the surgery, it was fine.
As for me I am suffering from exhaustion, brought on by the stress of dealing with OH and his problems. I have medication to take and have to take it easy, easier said than done. Our new Dr. is a really nice lady, she listens to what you have to say, and actually faces you whilst talking to you. Because OH does not need help dressing etc we cannot get a higher grading on the housing list, so we just have to sit it out. Something will come up eventually.

Evening all,
Congratulations on the weight loss Dumpling?
Judi....hugs for you and your DD.
Csarina......take things as easy as you can, I hope that you can get a suitable home for you both soon
Been rather lazy today, 4 loads of washing, including one lot of towels which had been on the line and driven all over by the wind, all filthy, luckily they could be boil washed so have come up clean again. Coming in through the back door I somehow caught my heel on the door and cut it....not badly but it is very sore so have been taking care of myself.
Its been a bright day here today, still very cold but more pleasant than the weather has been lately, hope to go for a walk again tomorrow.
Hugs to all who would like one, stay safe and well
