Both the fixed & adapter have for a very good reason, a 1amp fuse.. Please do not cut the plug off & use a 3 Pin. 1 amp fuses do not fit the 3 pin.
You can fit a 3-pin plug onto the cable from the charger.
You can also buy a 1-amp fuse (or at least a packet of the things) to fit a standard 3-pin plug from just about anywhere (my local newsagents does them).
I've probably got a dozen or so kicking around gathering dust.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
