Ebay Global Shipping Programme

Do overseas users see the International postage cost before bidding as part of the global shipping programme.

I had a dress listed which has been bought by someone in France, they have now sent me a message stating they think I have been dishonest and if the cost remains they will cancel the purchase.

They quote the cost of £2.80 which is they uk postage cost, Ebay have now charged £11.27, I can completely understand that £11.27 is way over the top for postage to France but I assumed International postage cost would have been made aware to them on the listing.

I thought the global shipping was a good idea but now realise it would probably be just as easy to list with international postage.

Yes your buyer should have seen the shipping charges before they purchased.

Thanks, I thought they should have, have sent them a message back advising them to take it up with Ebay.

GSP seems to be cheap for some and over priced for others.
Look like they average it out.

True, i dont know if its just me but the bigger the item the more reasonable the postage seems.
