    No, it's okay - I'm amazed that they picked up on this thread. I am to contact them but there's been so much to do, they are next in line for a phone call.

    It's called Google Alerts and almost instantly alerts companies or anyone who signs up to it of an entry on a web page containing their company name or keywords.

    They would have known about your post 5 weeks ago but took no action until today when they decided to reply to numerous posts about them on MSE.

    With a company of Homeserves dubious past (Google them) you would expect them to be more on the ball although judging by their previous actions it's what you would expect of them.
