Thanks everyone for replies especially pcg2001 great heads up about qudico payment.
Using pcg2001 I could get a month's supply for £23 instead of £39 from my optician's, a saving of £192 for a year!
'Daysoft' seem a good alternative, what do people think about them in terms of comfort? How long do they last per day for good quality comfort? Also, does anyone who has tried them have dry eyes and get on fine with them?
Thanks to photome,froggy27 and jools02 for suggesting daysoft.
Why not give daysoft a try you have nothing to lose as you get 4 pairs free so you can try for 4 days and if no good, return the rest for money back.
Their delivery times are great to, my wife has been using them for about a year with no problems at all.0 -
Well I clicked on the coastal contact lenses link. I was baffled by the prices! I order 2 boxes of 90 day focus dailies.
Previously I purchased them from visiondirect, £56 for 90 day supply (both eyes!!)
From coastal contacts, the total price for 180 pairs including delivery, was about £51!!!!!!!
I still can't quite believe it. I only have a Visa electron as well, but I put it in under Visa and have received a very professional despatch note already!!!
Fingers crossed.:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -
getlenses.com - they will price match anyone and they are amazingly quick.
I've also used lensway.com - v. good too."You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Those prices sound really great :T... I use surevue and my OH used proclear toric and neither are stocked by costal contacts. I wish I would get that sort of a bargain.0 -

I have dry eyes and daysoft didnt suit me at all sorry to say, but I am now using the ones you leave in all month but on a daily basis, they are so comfy!!!
And which make and model would these contacts be? The reason I'm asking is that I need Toric lenses that are also good with dry eyes. I suffer from very bad "tear break-up" you see, and have tried many different types of contacts with no luck (Including hard contacts)
If anyone could help me find a suitable pair, I'd buy them a drink!0 -
I get mine from http://www.contactlens.co.uk, cheapest I've found for my type of lens so far, couldn't say for other types though0

I use DaySoft lenses, work out at £13 per month I think (that's for both eyes) including delivery - have had them for a couple of years, not initially as comfortable as the lenses I had before but I'm used to them now and they save me a lot of money!

Hope this helps!0
