If you can access other websites, your router wont be a problem. If you are using IE i would look at the setting in TOOLS at the top and then goto OPTIONS. Check your settings. Do you have cookies blocked. Is your settings too high. You could lower them, just for the website.
Also another alternative you could try is use FIREFOX. Do you have it already? If not, just find it in google, download the program which takes a minute and viola. It's faster and better than IE. I use a combination of both IE and Firefox at times. If i have a problem with 1 site, then i use the other program to check it. Give it a try. Its real easy. It might get you into that website first go.
I hope this helps.0 -
When I had a similar problem (it wouldn't allow me to view one particular website, I think it was google which was very annoying) I also fixed it by looking at the router. In my case I upgraded the firmware. What's your router? You should be able to download the latest firmware for that model on the manufacturer's website."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

i have both IE and Firefox can't view the website in either....

I have an Orange livebox. It updates itself. I have never touched. It sets its self up automatically.
So im no expert in routers. It could be your port settings, that might be blocking your website, if you think its your router that is causing the problems.0 -

All http would be through one port usually 80, so if it was blocked then you wouldn't be able to view any website. All or nothing."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

its still fine at work but not at home - if i didnt have a broken ankle i'd just go to the library!!!
I have tried with both Firefox and IE, IE at work, its fine and IE and Firefox at home....i have no problem with any other website so it shouldn't be my router?....any further ideas? i reduced my security settings in IE too...0 -
I had a similar problem with just one website a while ago and added the site in IE, internet options, tools, privacy, sites. It worked for me but I don't understand why this particular site needed to be added! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I think you missed my earlier post. I had the exact same problem, no access to only one specific site. It was SOLVED by updating the router's firmware. Have you done that? I don't think you know anything that would eliminate the router as being the cause."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Add it to trusted sites? Does it give you a 403 Forbidden error?0
