Sky not working

Hi all
all I seem to be doing is turning sky off at mains to get it working again. After 2/3 days my sky stops working as in you can still watch the channel your on but you cant change channel. nor will anything else work even thing you try and record comes up failed. any help on this please as driving me mad thanks

yup, full system rest required, which will wipe the hdd unfortunately...just did mine today

how old is your sky box ?
What can happen is that parts of the disk drive get corrupted and no longer records on it and causes it to hang. I had to keep resetting mine every day or two which was a pain. Lucky for me I was about to upgrade so got a new box sent through FOC.0 -
