Aerial booster for freeview

At the moment im using a magic wand aerial to boost the freeview signal in our dining room, we have just the top box connected straight to the tv via a scart, before adding the freeview we had perfect pictures and sound on all 4 basic channels. Now we can catch it at random moments and thats normally with a lot of re-positioning and fiddling and is fine as long as you dont move or breathe !!

Can anyone recommend a good budget signal booster that will work ??

Thanks in advance

I think your basic problem is the aerial, digital is much harder to pick up in some areas, like mine.

You really need a clear line of sight in the direction of your transmitter, and any sort of set top aerial unless you are very lucky, just will not do it. As you have found out when you move around

    Farway is right.

However, you can try one of these indoor aerials too make sure. Get the mid-range Telecam TCE2001 for £20 from Argos - if you're not satisfied, just return it for a refund telling them it's just not up to scratch. G

Like above, a good outdoor tv aerial is needed. I also use a seperate booster aswell like this one http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5346130.htm
They work a treat. Some give a stronger boost than others. Hope this helps.
