I think you're right Loughton Monkey that financial planning is non-existent for most people.
However Jon makes a good point, that looking at debt figures alone does not give a full pitcure. It would be unwise to assume that all the money had been wasted just because it debt wasn't repaid.0 -

OK, but I don't suffer fools gladly. And in any case, it's a number of hours since my last G&T.
I'm not the only one. The Generali seems to be ranting about "Utes" whatever they are. Most of us don't speak 'strine'. But I suspect it's another ossie insulting acronym standing for something like "Undesirable Tetchy Elderly Sot". If I were in any way paranaoic, I would swear he's having a poke at your's truly.....0
