Holiday to Greece? Political issues?

Hi all
I was hoping for some advice. I'm thinking of booking a holiday to Greece and haven't really kept up with the politics of the situation over there. Is it advisable to travel there and if so what sort of problems will I emcounter if any? Booking for a resort this April/May

Many thanks

Go for it, islands are fine, might steer clear of some areas of Athens on some days.

    As per wallbashs comments really.

Greece has a very low crime rate and the people, especially in touristy places are Exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We were there when they last had 'troubles' around 3 years ago. It was no different to any other year.

They need all the help they can get from tourism, go for it!

Despite what has been said above, there's only one tiny area of Athens that locals advise people to avoid if travelling alone alone after dark. It's literally a few hunder meters around Omonia metro station. I always get off a stop before or after. I feel far safer in Athens than quite a few areas of London after dark. because Athens is always buzzing with people and areas of London can be deserted at night.
