Avoiding membership renewal?

Hello

I've just tried to get my free credit report through Experian but because I have previously done their free trial (a few years ago!) it recognises my details and takes me to a renewal (monthly subscription) page. Is there a way to avoid this?

  • Apply for your £2 statutory report. If they recognise your details then you will be charged the subscription fees. You have already had a free trial, you won't get another one. :o
  • Thought as much. That's what I've done. Thanks!

    Hello

solentsusie is correct, we can only offer one free trial per person for our CreditExpert membership, as you've previously had a Experian CreditExpert membership when you attempt to login it will prompt you if you wish to re-active your past membership, the membership fee is £14.99 per month.

If you are looking to obtain a copy of your credit report with Experian as solentsusie has mentioned you can obtain a statutory credit report for £2.00, you may also find it useful to obtain a credit report with all three uk credit reference agencies Equifax and Call-Credit as the information may differ between the three.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind Regards

Even if you select the option to view your Staturory report online they will send you a pin in the post to slow you down >:( no matter how many times you have already had your credit report at the current address.
