Thinking of spending a lot with these guys on upgrading a shower room.
Anybody got any horror stories ,looked at others then found some very bad reviews. This company is based in Leeds.

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.0 -
Can anyone recomend a half decent online bathroom supplier ?0

Why online? Wouldnt it be better to use a local company that wont vanish the instant you have a complaint?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Try your local facebook page for a recommendation.
Make sure you see examples of the work they have done.
Local will always be a better option than a random online company.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Have looked at local suppliers but couldn't get what I was looking for there, also the prices are so much more expensive.
Surely if local was always better there would be no on line suppliers.0 -
I've heard many horror stories about small companies as well as large Internet ones.
All you can do is research as much as possible.0 -

I've bought a kitchen, bathroom and a houseful of furniture online with not a single hitch. It's no problem if you read the Ts&Cs and pay by credit card. You have more protection buying online than you do on the highstreet, and in my experience you're more likely to get good service if you do a bit of research.0 -
Earth Bathrooms is a legitimate company - if you Google the brand and hit 'news' there's load of info about the founder and the launch.0

Hi Kate,
Thank you for joining the forum so that you could resurrect a 2 month old thread and tell us that the company is "legitimate". Have you, by any chance, actually spent any money with this company? Or are you actually associated with the company, in which case you are in contravention of the forum rules.0 -
Earth Bathrooms gave us this response to post on the thread. Please note third party views are not the views of MSE.
“At Earth Bathrooms we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and really see this as how we differentiate ourselves against our competitors. We’re keen on our prices and have a price match promise, but not at the detriment of providing the great service our customers deserve.
We’d rather not try and convince you ourselves - but would encourage you to see how we’ve looked after our other customers on an independent reviews site athttp://www.reviews.co.uk/company-reviews/store/earth-bathrooms
We respond quickly to any enquiries, so please don’t hesitate to contact us directly via our website if you’ve any queries”
Many thanks,
David
