What to give as a christening gift

Hi,

Looking for inspiration and ideas as to what to give as a christening gift to my godson/nephew. In true MSE fashion I dont want to spend too much. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas or could tell me what people give (boys) as christening presents?

yeah I was thinking of something like that, some of the christening holder things look quite nice. Any recommendations of where to get them? Have looked online and in local shops

Thats one of the few ive seen on ebay but if you search birth certificate holder loads come up

One of those nice photo frames with lots of spaces to put photos of him growing up.

Plaster mould kit to make hand/feet statues, or you can buy ones that you just do a print into like cement.

Extra special photo album to put christening photos in.

You can of course get the traditional money box/first tooth box/bowl with spoon/fork kits, but personally i prefer useful gifts or ones that i would genuinely want as a keepsake.
