So it looks like there are no pro hair care products on offer so we need to use up the John Frieda £2.50 coupons from the SB packs today to make use of the 3 for 2 offer.

Pity about the Palmolive Cashmere one, the So beautiful 70p coupons expire today

I just had a really bad time in tesco, I went in to try for the first time using some vouchers, I had written a list a organised my coupons. I got my shopping all bogof s and some other stuff that I needed and went to the till, The lad on the till told me the coupons would not go through with out even trying them and when I pointed out the at least one of the should have worked he got really funny, and asked me really loudly where I got them all from as i should not have been able to get them. Customers were staring at me. I paid and got out really quickly. I was so looking forward to geting some stuff cheap coz we need it, instead I paid for it all and no OH is annoyed at what I spent. oh well. I hate Tesco now sob sob. Sorry for the rant everyone XXX

guess it was more traumatic when u got this bad experience when u r doing yr first coupon shop. i could not think of anyone here never had a bad shop so far, so it is just part of the game, u win some u lose some, but we often have the last laugh.

used a new young sa, he scanned everything sometimes repeatedly on the same coupon, i was so thrilled that i found a new super happy scanner, but when he scanned the total so low, he suddenly asked did i buy a particular product at the end, i just mumbled yeah it's in the bag... went to his till next time, he was v quiet and did not want to chat, when handed over coupons, he suddenly had a smug on his face and glanced at my coupons and told me he couldn't scan this one because i didn't buy the product, he also couldn't scan the other for same reason, basically he couldn't scan any of them. i told him i may not buy the pictured ones but i bought the right products that are covered by the coupons. at the end he scanned one set of hb and i ended up paying a lot. i didn't argue because i know i m going to return the high valued items in the next trip, but i did have a foul mood for a couple of hours afterwards.

i decided the minimum total that i am willing to pay for that shop and worked out what items to return and have the total reduced as close to my budget as possible. i tended to return the high value ones so as not to draw attention (it is better to return 4 items than 20 in one go). when i returned the items in next trip, cs refunded me £3ish more than what i paid for the whole shop, so the bad shop has turned into a free shop plus a few quid compensation at the end. :j

don't be put off, just keep trying, u will be glad how much u could save. :)

Thanks, everyone on here has been so nice, I feel better knowing that I am not the only one (sorry). I will try again in a few days I think and will go for a different sa.
