Agree this is certainly not a key piece of information as the chance is so low. If a travel agent had to cover all these things which have a low probability which this does of say only about 1% then you'd never get out of a travel agents, they'd be stuck for ages having to go through every tiny thing that could go wrong.
Sorry but that's just not realistic.0 -
We've been to Florida many times in the hurricane season. Not seen a hurricane yet. Hurricanes rarely last for 14 days anyway.0

All I have asked is, is she in her rights to ask them to swap the holiday. Since posting I have been advised that she is well within her legal rights to do so as a key piece of information that would affect the decision of purchase on a holiday which they recommended and advised upon was not supplied.
I disagree
Who advised you that she is within her legal rights to get the TA to arrange an alternative.0 -

Well tell her to go and exercise that legal right then, but could you go with her to video the event to post on YouTube so that we can all share in the hilarity that will ensue at the Travel Agent?0 -

Tell her this is a valuable experience, you go into travel agent, you enquire about holidays first, then you're free to leave & do some research - sounds like your daughter shouldn't be booking holidays to me. (And by that I mean niave & inexperienced at best) In future she'll remember that before going off half cocked then looking to invoke this that & the next thing to get out of it when she discovers something she doesn't like.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0
