Landlord refusing to do repairs as I gave notice to quit

Hi all,
as some of you know I have had issues with my letting agent and landlord over repair issues, mainly to do with leaking guttering behind the bathroom wall causing damp and mould issues.
I gave notice to quit about a week ago, but before this, the letting agent said the landlord was keen to get the repairs done and I passed on contact details and said I would be home all of next week (this week just gone) as I was on leave, and they said they would push to get the work done as I could allow access. The week has come and gone with no contact from the landlord, and the letting agent have been ignoring most of my emails until I emailed the 'head of lettings' and said that as I had given notice to quit, the repairs were no longer a priority and the landlord wants to do the work when the property is empty. I am not due to quit the property until the 17th March but the landlord and letting agent have used every excuse going not to do the repairs over the last two years. The lack of repair work is the reason I am moving out.
I have sent them letters and date stamped photos of the damage of the property. Is there anything I can do? I feel that I am being fobbed off.

There's a thread on here entitled 'what to do if the landlord won't fix anything' with some advice for tenants in your situation, page 2.
Sorry, I can't link it as I'm a noob.0 -
You are leaving. Even if they fixed the guttering now the damp would probably take that long to dry out. It isnt your problem any more so let them do as they wish (or not as the case may be).0

If the LL wants to let the property get wrecked because of a leak that's his look out. You've done your due diligence and reported it to him but you can't force him to repair it. Well you can but it would take longer than from now to 17th March so just grin and bear it until you move into your new home.0

It may be beneficial since he will have less scope to try and deduct things from your deposit since you can blame a lot of things on the damp and it will all need redecorating anywayChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

that is what I am hoping. I have the emails from the letting agent where they admit the problem is caused by the leaking guttering, etc. I am hoping it would be enough evidence should I have to dispute any deductions

Even if he fixed the guttering the damp walls would take 2 - 3 months to dry properly. I can undersatnd the LL preferring to wait till you leave before fixing the place up.
That does not excuse the lack of repairs in the past, but as you are leaving nw, it is water under the bridge (or down the wall).0
