Hi everyone,
i wish to raise a dispute reference my deposit being held. I wish to send the initial letter of action before raising a dispute with TDS. On my deposit certificate it has only the landlord, however on the summary page it includes the agent also. I am not sure which party holds the money.... should i send a letter to both parties or just the land lord? Previously all my correspondence has gone through the agency,?..
Opinions please
thank you

A letter of action is a letter you send before taking court action. Just raise a dispute with TDS.0

Seriously are you asking this question again, are you trying to wind me up!!!!!
You need to ask the LANDLORD for the deposit, they are the ones responsible for returning it to you. It is of no concern to you who holds the money or whether they spent it in the bookies the minute you gave it to them. You can send a copy to the agency but it is the LANDLORD who is responsible.
You should write to them by recorded post giving them 10 days to return the money and then dispute it with the scheme.0
