Best travel card, travelling this week

I think I have left this late but I'm travelling to Indian subcontinent later this week. Need to take some cash less than £500 so anyone have any ideas on best way? The prepaid travel cards I was looking at take 7-10 days to arrive.

  • I'd love to know why people leave things like this to the last minute!

Yes was aware of that. Just clarifying the short availability of Travelex cards.

Perhaps, but you should also clarify that they are not at all of use in the case of the OP, lest they take it as a recommendation.

Thanks for telling me what to do.

The post is a prompt for further research by the OP.

No, it isn't. It's just a dead end for the OP. Why are you so insistent on defending the indefensible?
What further research do you suggest that the OP does on the Travelex card that might bear fruit?
I have a feeling that you posted in the first instance without aforethought...
