HSBC Pre-Approved Credit Card - How Long Wait?

About 2 Weeks ago I received a Letter from my bank (HSBC) advising that I have been pre-approved for a HSBC Credit Card with £1000 Limit.

I completed the attached Credit Agreement and returned it in the pre-paid envelope the next day. But to date I haven't heard anything back from the bank? The closing date on the reply letter said August 20th but I thought I may have received something by now??

Does anyone know how long I'll wait for a reply or my card to arrive???

The postal service has been subject to a couple of strikes over the last few days so it might have been held up in the post. I'm also in the same boat waiting for my Amazon CC. Give it another few days or so for the postal backlog to get sorted and if you still have nothing, give them a ring.
