EHIC card expires whilst on holiday

Hi, I have booked a holiday at the end of July this year, but have noticed on my calendar that my EHIC card will expire half way through the holiday.
Does anyone know if I am able to request a new one before my old one expires?

I have 2 EHIC cards both still valid. Thought I lost one, so ordered another.
Both have same ref no's on them, but different dates.
Just do it on the official website and you should have another one in the next 5-10 days.0 -
